8 cooking apples
75mls of diet 7up
1 ½ tablespoons of sugar
½ a teaspoon of cinnamon
225g of ready made custard
1 ½ tablespoons of ﬂour
15g melted butter
1: Peel and chop apples into medium - small pieces.
2: Place chopped apples into a pot with the diet 7up and cinnamon.
3: Place on medium heat and allow to stew for 15 - 20 minutes. Stir regularly to avoid it sticking to the pot. You may need to use a fork to mash it smooth.
4: Combine oats and ﬂour in a bowl.
5: Melt the butter and add to the oats/ﬂour mixture.
6: when apples are soft and smooth, place in an ovenproof dish.
7: Top the apples with the custard and then the oat crumble topping.
8: Place in the oven for 10 minutes at 180 - 200C for 5 - 10 minutes until crisp on top.
